Dylan chose Ohio State. He’s grateful you did, too.

Support from generous donors — members of our Buckeye community like you — keeps him going.

Wide-ranging opportunities drew Dylan Page to Ohio State, first for his undergraduate and master’s degrees and now his PhD. Support from generous donors — members of our Buckeye community like you — keeps him going.

Growing up in Washington Court House, Ohio, he was close enough to see all that the Columbus campus could offer, and he would remain near family, making Ohio State an easy choice.

Each year since he started his studies in 2018, Dylan’s scholarships have made it possible for him to chart his course based on his curiosity and personal development goals. As an undergraduate student, Dylan was involved in Mortar Board, a national honor society recognizing college seniors for their exemplary scholarship, leadership and service. He was also a resident advisor at Jones Tower, and participated in multiple extracurricular clubs.

Dylan proudly served in the Ohio Army National Guard, and when he earned his master of public administration and master of applied economics degrees, he became a Distinguished Military Graduate. This helped fuel his academic journey, along with donor support.

“Scholarships allow students to pursue their goals and academic opportunities and not have to worry about the financial obligations that tuition might be presenting them,” Dylan says. He also recognizes that this support frees recipients to truly just be students.

Dylan Page shares how donor support impacted his academic journey.

These days, Dylan spends his time on his doctoral studies at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs. When he graduates in 2029, he wants to go into a career that furthers his research and enables him to pay forward to others. He says that scholarships have empowered him to get to where he is today and he is grateful they let him carve new paths.

"On behalf of myself and all Ohio State students, I can't thank you enough for being a current donor. And for those looking to be a donor, I hope you choose to give because your impact on students' lives is something that really touches them to the core."
