Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Senior Director of Development serves as a major gift officer for the university and provides direction and coordination of fundraising strategies for the College of Arts/Sciences, specifically the areas of natural and mathematical sciences. S/he develops and implements long and short term plans including campaign management to secure major gifts from alumni, friends, volunteers, corporations, foundations and other entities, with an emphasis on gifts of $100,000 and above in support of the college and university's mission, objectives and priorities as set by the Dean and/or President.
The Executive Director of Foundation Relations maximizes the university’s potential in securing philanthropic support from local and national foundations. He/she will serve as an integral member of the Vice President of Development’s team and position the foundation relations team as a leader among the natural university partners for foundations. This role develops and executes strategies that significantly deepen the relationship with and improve the quality of services for current and prospective foundation partnerships.

The Assistant Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship serves as part of the Donor Relations and Stewardship team for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with specific focus on The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James). He/she is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive programs that promote meaningful engagement opportunities, creative stewardship and target annual and major giving prospects and donors. This position will focus on the entire donor cycle and work to create experiences that both cultivate and steward our constituents.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship, the Coordinator of Donor Acknowledgement and Financial Stewardship works with the donor relations team and supports the College of Engineering (COE) by creating opportunities for donors to see the impact of their philanthropy. He/she will manage all aspects of the COE’s daily gift acknowledgment process, oversee all financial stewardship reporting, and manage the gift agreement and endowment description and fund creation/consolidation processes.

Working on the graphic design team in collaboration with other University Marketing disciplines and campus units, the Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions from concept to production for print and promotional collateral in-line with team, project and university objectives. This position will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering from brief to end user.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Creative and Multi-Media, the Editorial Art Director leads visioning, coordination and production through all facets of the creative process for the Ohio State Alumni Magazine. Directing the editorial design team, he/she will foster alignment across marketing disciplines and with Alumni Association leadership. In addition, this position will select, direct and manage external creative partner relationships including but not limited to photographers, illustrators, freelance designers and printers.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Special Projects for Advancement, the Director of Donor Experience leads a central team focused on donor relations and stewardship and collaborates across Advancement to develop and implement strategies to ensure donors have positive experiences that build loyalty, engagement and support for Ohio State. With a particular focus on strengthening relationships with donors contributing major gifts, the Director manages university-wide stewardship guidelines, best practices and programs designed to express appreciation and the impact of philanthropic support, and collaborates and supports partners in all colleges and units.
Reporting to the Network Engineer for Advancement IT, the Help Desk Technician serves as part of a team that supports a wide variety of users and is responsible for receiving, resolving, escalating and monitoring complex issues and requests received by the service desk. He/she provides system support for equipment owned and operated by University Advancement; assists in the development and updating of system documentation and standards for Mac and Windows desktops and Mac and PC laptops and printers; advises customers regarding system software and hardware enhancements; and creates new department computer images and deploys them to the customers.
Reporting to the Lead Application Developer for Advancement, the Systems Developer/Engineer provides technical application development and shares responsibility for analysis, design, implementation, and support; follows approved life cycle methodologies; and performs program coding and testing. This is a hands-on position requiring a working knowledge in relational databases, with client-server concepts using .Net technology. He/she serves as a technical resource in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of the Blackbaud CRM, SQL Server Reporting Services reports, SQL Server stored procedures, and related Business Intelligence and Information systems to support the needs of the Office of Advancement.
