The Executive Director of Foundation Relations maximizes the university’s potential in securing philanthropic support from local and national foundations. He/she will serve as an integral member of the Vice President of Development’s team and position the foundation relations team as a leader among the natural university partners for foundations. This role develops and executes strategies that significantly deepen the relationship with and improve the quality of services for current and prospective foundation partnerships.
The Director of Development will develop and implement long- and short-term plans to secure major gifts from alumni, friends, volunteers, corporations, foundations and other entities with an emphasis on gifts of $100,000 and above in support of the Libraries and university’s mission, objectives and priorities as set by the Vice Provost and Director of University Libraries and the Assistant Vice President of Development. The Director, working with Libraries leadership and Central Advancement, will assist with building upon the Libraries’ strategic plan and create and implement a libraries fundraising plan and conceptualize fund raising projects, set fund raising priorities and discover new prospects.
The Marketing Insights Analyst is responsible for reporting and analyzing marketing performance to fuel strategic decision-making and optimization. This person supports the Director in the development of business intelligence and audience insights for marketers across the University. The role is responsible for collecting behavioral data, developing reports, and analyzing trends in order to impact performance optimization, goal setting, strategic decisions, and the generation of new hypotheses. The Analyst will track and analyze behavioral data across awareness, engagement, action, and advocacy. Activities will include creating marketing dashboards for key stakeholders, aggregating data from multiple sources, and developing campaign wrap-ups.

The Assistant Director of Gift Agreement and Endowment Services (GAES) researches, validates, drafts, edits and revises gift agreements and endowment descriptions in collaboration with the Associate Director of GAES. S/he proofreads and edits to provide effective and concise language to document the intentions of all parties, provides for fund expenditure language that is both donor friendly and sets clear expectations for fund stewardship in perpetuity, and is compliant with current policies, standards, protocols, guidelines, best practices, etc. S/he works with other departments on campus to review gift agreement and endowment terms and keeps development teams informed along the way if there are any issues to be resolved. S/he assists the Associate Director in developing workflow processes; implements, and oversees effective methods of tracking and distributing gift agreements and endowment descriptions to colleges and unit and runs reports to track metrics and prompt parties regularly for feedback to keep processes moving. S/he creates and edits procedure documents and posts to the department intranet; creates and edits training materials and delivers training classes with oversight from the GAES Associate Director and suggests changes and participates in implementing process improvements with a focus on operational efficiency and high quality service.
