Director of Development (Multiple Vacancies)
The Director of Development will understand the mission, needs and value proposition of the Wexner Medical Center and the university, and build relationships with prospective donors to increase philanthropic support. Donors such as alumni, friends, and/or grateful patients will be identified by listening for opportunities to align their interests and passions with opportunities to donate to the university or Wexner Medical Center. This position is posted until May 31st.

 

Prospect Development Consultant

The Prospect Development Consultant is an experienced prospect development professional who collects, maintains, analyzes, and distributes information on individuals and organizations to support development and advancement goals; applies a thorough understanding of industry knowledge and best practices to discover new prospects for the university  or medical center and  frequently conducts biographical and financial research to profile current or potential donors for meetings, vents, and strategy planning for advancement purposes; and focuses on detecting, verifying, and synthesizing information. This position is posted until May 10th. 

Senior Director of Development (CFAES)

The Senior Director of Development will understand the mission, needs and value proposition of the university and the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES), and build relationships with prospective donors to increase philanthropic support. Donors such as alumni, friends, and/or grateful patients will be identified by listening for opportunities to align their interests and passions with opportunities to donate to the University. This position is posted until May 3rd. 

Chief Advancement Officer (College of Arts and Sciences)

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) for the College of Arts and Sciences serves as the head fundraiser for the university’s largest academic unit, leading all development, alumni relations and donor experience activities. The CAO creates and leads the strategy to identify, develop and maintain a robust pipeline of donors to the college through strategic direction of a large team of experienced professionals. This position is posted until filled. 

Administrative Assistant

As a member of the Scholarship and Student Support team in University Advancement, the Administrative Assistant reports to the Senior Director of Development for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) and provides support and coordination for activities and projects that pertain to constituent engagement, namely current and potential donors. This position will offer opportunities for collaboration with colleagues across University Advancement as well as with executive leadership, program administrators, and members of the Advancement Communications team within ODI. This role is posted till May 2nd. 

Donor Experience Senior Associate (College of Engineering)

Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship, the Donor Experience Senior Associate works with the donor relations team and supports the College of Engineering (COE) by creating opportunities for donors to see the impact of their philanthropy. They will manage all aspects of several important areas, including: the COE's gift acknowledgment process, hosting of engineering donors at Ohio State athletic events, custom stewardship pieces for individual donors, including personalized videos and VIP and loyal donor milestone recognitions (birthdays, anniversaries, giving anniversaries etc.). This role is posted until May 2nd. 

 

Associate Director, Digital Strategy & ADV Solutions

The Associate Director, Digital Strategy and Advancement Solutions has the primary responsibility for setting and implementing the strategic direction of the online presence for The Ohio State University’s Advancement Marketing and Communications (AMC), including all online channels and digital communications for the Office of Advancement, Wexner Medical Center Advancement, digital fundraising, and The Ohio State University Alumni Association (magazine, website, app, social media channels, and digital communications in support of 150+ alumni clubs and societies worldwide). This position is posted until May 3rd. 

 

Editor

The Associate Editor leads content strategy for The Ohio State University’s Advancement Marketing and Communications (AMC) department as delivered across a variety of owned channels with particular focus on delivering the stories alumni and donor audiences find most compelling.
