    Coordinates the production of Ohio State Alumni Magazineby overseeing planning; assigning stories and other tasks to University Communications staff members and freelancers; writing, editing and processing copy; consulting with designers on visual elements; and performing clerical duties.  *Successful candidates will provide a portfolio that includes writing samples and examples of publications they’ve edited.
  • Systems Developer/Engineer, University Communications - job opening number 383246
    As a member of Interactive Communications within University Advancement, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge and expertise programming web sites/applications on an open-source technology stack (PHP/LAMP preferred). This position plays a key role creating, delivering and maintaining high-level web projects —including responsive/mobile web— focused on the end-user, within a fast-moving creative environment. A problem solver and critical thinker with an eye for detail and a willingness to dissect, debug and solve diverse programming challenges. Is nimble and flexible, able to work across a variety of web projects, code structures, and deadlines while remaining current with emerging technologies and best practices. Melds back-end systems with the front-end technologies to create rich, dynamic user experiences.
